Annoucing Wormzilla - Director's Cut


So, I made my first game for a Game Jam. Like almost every other game made for Game Jams, Wormzilla is rough. It is very rough. I struggled to finish in time, and it shows.
The part of the game that suffered the most was clearly design, where Wormzilla got its worst ranking. I just didn't have time to create all the graphics and mainly used ready-made assets. And it's a shame, since I'm primarily a designer!
The physics are also way off, and make some levels a lot more difficult to complete. It is too easy to miss a jump or pick-up an evolution you try to avoid.

That's why I wanted to create a new version, one that would be true to what I had in mind when I started the Jam. It is now online, with new graphics and sprites, much better physics and gravity, and a few tweaks to some levels: Wormzilla - Director's Cut.
I put on its own Itch page, so the original version is kept intact, in its rough, unfinished state.
